Calling All of Our Community Knitters and Crocheters for a Woolly Hugs & Kisses℠ Community Knitting Event!

Something warm and comforting - and good for your spirit!

Help Launch Our Fall Community Knitting Projects Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 10am - 4pm!

Your knitting reputations precede you and the love and warmth in every stitch you make has not gone unnoticed! Three organizations (detailed below) have reached out to us this season and we are inviting you to stop in this coming Sunday, October 29th between 10am and 4pm to help us launch our Fall community knitting projects - just in time before the winter cold sets in and/or the little pumpkins arrive! Earn double bonus points for yarn purchased to make and donate items to one or all of the following organizations:

The Asbury Dining and Caring Center: serving the homeless here in Rochester with 35,000 meals per year and 140 gift bags including hats and gloves for the homeless each Christmas, they are in need of hats and gloves for this winter.

RCSD School #12: a K-8 Elementary School of about 900 students located in the Highland Park neighborhood with a need for hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to support their healthy initiative to get students outside every day.

Highland Hospital Nursery: with a never ending stream of new arrivals, they are looking for little orange/pumpkin hats for babies born in November.

We hope you can join us this Sunday, and feel free to stay for as long as you like to cast on and sit and knit together to get started. Free patterns and support will be available.

We will be collecting finished items at the shop through Sunday, December 17th.

Thank you in advance for your kind support.
