Update For Our Customers Regarding Coronavirus: Shop Closed To In-Store Shopping Until Further Notice

Dear Friends,

At the request of our Governor for non-essential businesses to consider closing beginning today in order to help stem the spread of the coronavirus, we will be closing the shop to in-store shopping starting at close of business today, March 16, 2020 at 6pm until further notice.

While some of us could argue that yarn is essential (and we would agree), we want to do our part to minimize the risk to you, our customers, and to our staff as the pandemic takes hold in our country and in our area.

Our plan is to continue best practices to keep our shop as clean as possible and make sure that anyone processing orders is not sick or contagious to the best of our knowledge.

We all have to make the best of where we are, and perhaps this is an opportunity to work on projects that have been languishing or to start something you've been waiting to work on until you had more time. We hope you will share your progress and project photos with us via Instagram @dizzysheep_yarn or Facebook/villageyarn.

Should you need supplies or help, we want you to know that we are still here for you.  It is our intention to remain connected to you, our customers, as best we can and to work to fill and ship orders out to you, and to answer your questions and continue to help with project consultation in every way we can.  We will be stocking new Spring / Summer inventory and will keep you up to date on our new yarns and great project ideas through our website, Facebook and Instagram.

Remember:

  • You can shop from home in your sheepy slippers through our online store DizzySheep.com

  • We generally ship same day and shipping is currently and will remain free through this crisis

  • If you do not see what you need on Dizzy Sheep or prefer to not shop online, please feel free to call the shop at 585-586-5470 for assistance (please leave a message if we cannot take your call when it comes in) or email us at support@villageyarnandfiber.com.  We promise to get back to you as quickly as possible and get you what you need.

It is our hope that all of us stay safe and healthy, and that this will be a memory very soon.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Happy Knitting & Crocheting Always,

Karen, Sarah, Catherine & Carl
