Find Your Fade KAL Planning and Launch Event

Sunday, June 4th from 4 - 6 pm

Find Your Fade by Andrea Mowry is a beautiful asymmetrical triangular shawl worked in a very simple garter stitch and lace pattern that is the perfect canvas for you to have fun playing with mixing colors as you knit. It is also the perfect project for using up fingering weight yarn you may already have on hand and maybe mixing it with some of the new yarns we have brought into the shop this season. The shawl can be made with a single color or as many colors of fingering weight yarn as you can envision (up to 10 if you want!).

You will need approximately 1540 yards of fingering weight yarn in multiple colors, not necessarily all from the same line. Feel free to bring whatever skeins you have at home with you when you come, and maybe find a couple here at the shop to tie it all together. It will be great fun collaborating on color combinations and mixing and matching skeins across manufacturers.

The Find Your Fade pattern is $7.00 and can be purchased as a Ravelry In Store purchase right here at the shop.

This is a free KAL planning and launch event that is open to everyone. We hope you can join us on Sunday June 4th from 4 - 6 pm, but if you are not able to make it at that time please feel free to stop in whenever you can and we will be happy to help you get started.

You are welcome to come and work on your shawl in the shop at any time, but we will be planning on dedicating the following Thursday Sit & Knit nights (7 - 9 pm) to our Find Your Fade KAL: June 8th, June 22nd, July 6th and July 20th. We'll add more dates as needed, but, of course, you know we will all be done knitting our unique Find Your Fade shawls by July 20th anyway! : )

Warning: This project may be addictive!
