To everyone who participated and supported our Alzheimer's The Longest Day 2013 team we wish to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation.

Friday, June 21st was a very special day at The Village Yarn & Fiber Shop as our Longest Day team knitted, crocheted and spun it's way from sun up to sundown surrounded by friends and family and an overwhelming presence of care, love and support for each other and all those faced with the challenge of living with or caring for those with Alzheimer's every day.

If you missed the opportunity to join us stay tuned.  Our team will be back for The Longest Day 2014 and we hope you will join us then.

Meanwhile, it is not too late to contribute to this year's effort.  Please consider donating to the fight to end Alzheimer's - every little bit helps!  Our team page has more information: https://thelongestday.alz.org/tld/villageyarn.

You can also contribute to the cause by purchasing the beautiful shawl Volo designed by our very own Deb Jaworowicz.

All proceeds from the sale of Volo will go to the Alzheimer's Association forever!

Click here for more information on Volo.  It will take you to Ravelry where you can read about and purchase the shawl.  Or stop by the shop and pick one up in person.
