It's here, it's here!  Simple Joy in Simple Gifts starts today: 31 days of small projects that are perfect for giving as gifts - to someone on your holiday list, or to yourself!

We start the lineup with this colorwork hat, the Clayoquot Toque.  A pattern from Tin Can Knits available as a free Ravelry download, this hat is a great way to learn how to knit with multiple colors at the same time.  Even better, it's written for a huge range of sizes - newborn through adult large - so it will fit anyone on your list who needs a toasty head this winter.

Our sample was made out of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light, a lovely blend of wool and alpaca in a DK weight.  The colors are: Moonshadow (4209), Caribbean Mix (42186) and Tupelo (4217), and each used less than a full skein.  Further details about the project can be found on our project page.  Special thanks to Marcie for knitting this beautiful sample for us to share with all of you!
