This Just In - Friday June 16, 2017: The Longest Day Event, Wet Felting Workshop and Summer Shop Hours
The Longest Day Fundraising Event 2017
Wednesday, June 21st through Saturday, July 15th
We continue our tradition of participating in the Alzheimer's Association Longest Day event to honor those facing Alzheimer's and to raise awareness for care and support while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's. Beginning on June 21st we will be unveiling hand knitted shawls and baskets filled with yarn and knitting treasures to be raffled for this worthy cause. Stop into the shop for more information, to browse the items being raffled and to purchase tickets between June 21st and July 15th. Drawings will be held at the close of business on July 15th. All ticket proceeds will go to ALZ.org.
Wet Felting Workshop: Small Vessels and Handbags
Saturday, July 8th from 10am - 4 pm
This summer we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary! In lieu of fireworks, part of our celebration will be an explosion of color in our three part Felting Workshop Summer Series with Lisa Ann Merian from Spinner's Hill. We hope you can join us for Workshop 1: Wet Felting Small Vessels and Handbags on Saturday, July 8th. This workshop will be an exciting day of wool play as you learn to wet felt small vessels and handbags. Click here for more information to sign up online today!
