Felting Workshop Summer Series - Workshop 1: Wet Felting Small Vessels and Handbags

Saturday, 7/8/2017 from 10:00am - 4:00pm
Instructor: Lisa Ann Merian
Fee: $99 tuition (single class session) / Class Materials: $25 payable to Lisa Ann Merian on the day of the workshop

Join us for an exciting day of wool play with Lisa Ann as she guides us through the tricks of the wet felting trade in this all day workshop.  Our focus will be on learning to layer various colors of carded wool on a resist shape. Then, with soap and water, patience, rolling, working with our hands or feet, and enthusiasm, we will learn to felt around that shape to make a felted vessel or handbag.

There will be time to discuss and explore a variety of projects as well as finishing technique options, embellishments and more. Ample materials and time will enable students to create and work on projects of their own design. All skill levels are welcome including beginners.

Seating is limited, so sign up below today! (Registration deadline: Wednesday, July 5th)
